Here is my story…
Some 15 years ago, I answered an ad in the newspaper for a position as a legal assistant for one of the large tax resolution firms that you see advertising on TV. At that time, I knew nothing about this industry and was amazed to discover that the IRS would actually negotiate and settle with taxpayers who owed them large amounts of money. (The general public still does not know about this since the IRS does not publicize this fact.) I was so intrigued by this company’s service that I went to work there. Over the years, I learned the ins and outs of the tax resolution business first hand.

The fact that the IRS will take a huge debt and settle with a person (as long they meet specific qualifications) for a fraction of what they owe was to me heartwarming and phenomenal. I loved what I was doing in terms of helping many fearful and stressed taxpayers.
Sadly, I began to get call backs from clients I had qualified telling me the service they signed up for had not been delivered, or that they couldn’t get a return phone call from anyone in the company about their questions or concerns. As time went by, I knew in my heart that I could no longer continue to work for this company in good conscience.
I began to do research on all the other large companies I saw on TV, heard on the radio, etc. After looking at their Better Business Bureau listings, I was saddened to see their huge numbers of complaints and unsatisfactory ratings. One of the biggest companies was involved in a $6,000,000 class action lawsuit over customer complaints, which they eventually lost, and another was banned from doing business in the State of New York.
One day my husband suggested that we start a highly ethical tax resolution company ourselves, designed to give quality results and service. With that suggestion, Tax Tiger was born.
I liken our founding to a David and Goliath story, because we began as a very small company with only a few employees and were competing against the giants in the industry. Today, our talented, dedicated staff has grown so much we take up most of the building we are in, we have clients in almost all 50 States, and over the past 7+ years, we have built a track record of excellence that is unparalleled in our industry.
We still face off against the giants, but God has blessed our company. As we continue to expand across the nation, we will continue to commit to the same level of excellence and service we started with, and our mission remains to give HOPE to hurting people and providing them with relief from financial disaster looming on the horizon from the IRS.
